We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation
Wendy Denise Edwards Davidson, 53, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril Davidson, maternal grandparents David and Edith Howell Jackson, and paternal grandparents Miles and Maybelle Hester Edwards. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Freddie and Rosalie Edwards of Bladenboro, one sister Rochele Davis and husband Stan of Bladenboro, nephew Drake Davis of Bladenboro, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who she loved dearly.
Wendy was a very determined, compassionate lady. From a young age, she had physical battles, but she never let them define who she was. She had the most infectious smile and laugh that lit up any room she entered. A talker by nature, Wendy never met a stranger. She loved unconditionally and would drop what she was doing to aid anyone or anything in need. She was the best daughter and sister that anyone could ever ask for. A true angel here on earth that was loved dearly by all that knew her. She now has her angel wings in heaven and will be awaiting the time when they all reunite again.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, July 21st at the Oak Grove Original FW Baptist Church in Bladenboro. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 22nd at Oak Grove Original FW Baptist Church with the Reverend Jackie Strickland and Reverend Henry Ward officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Bryant Edwards Cemetery.
