Shirley Ann McLemore, 84, of White Oak passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mattie Parker, her husband, Elvin McLemore, four infant siblings: Carson, Joe, Leon, and Louise, three brothers: Carl C. Parker, Jesse Parker and Charles Parker and three sisters: Celie Mae Barefoot, Eloise Jernigan, and Janice Saxon. Shirley is survived by two sons: Randy McLemore (Diane) of Abbottsburg; Ricky McLemore of White Oak; three daughters: Brenda M. Register (Kenneth) of White Oak; Deborah Rhodes (Sidney) of Rocky Point; and Tammy Singletary of White Oak; 13 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, a special brother-in-law, Perdie Edge, and a special friend Leon West.

Shirley was a wonderful, loving, and independent lady. She loved the Lord and her family. Her grandchildren were her heartstrings. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, shopping, and being surrounded by family and friends. Shirley cherished her home church, Christ Community Baptist Church and her church family. She will be remembered for her zeal for life and passionate heart.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Elizabethtown Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Fisher and Rev. Leon Warren officiating. All attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
