Obituary

Juan Diego Rizo Lozano, 58, of Elizabethtown went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2022. He was born in Jesus Maria Jalisco, Mexico to the late Miguel Rizo Villapando and Angela Lozano Garcia. Juan leaves behind his wife, Margarita Ayala Guzman, two sons, Jose de Jesus Rizo Ayala (Lupita Rizo) and Juan Diego Rizo Ayala (Yvette Rodriguez), four daughters, Maria San Juana Rizo Ayala (Michael Kabler), Maria de los Angeles Rizo Ayala (Juan Duran), Maria del Carmen Rizo Ayala (Clay King), and Cecilia Rizo (Rene Ramirez), six brothers Jorge, Juan, Miguel, Javier, Nacho, and Angel, six sisters, Chuya, Elvira, Ramona, Marta, Nena, and Rosa. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren.

Juan was a hardworking, loving man who lived for his children and grandchildren. He always put their needs before his own.  Juan spent his early years riding bulls and working as a shoemaker in Mexico. He currently worked as a cook for the El Patron Restaurant in Elizabethtown. Juan was always an easy-going man who was kind to everyone. He had a compassionate giving heart, and it was easy to see how much he cared for you in his actions. He was honest and true to his word. Juan will eternally be remembered for his integrity and his love of others.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Juan will be laid to rest in his hometown of Jesus Maria Jalisco, Mexico.

Juan Diego Rizo Lozano, de 58 años, de Elizabethtown, se fue a casa para estar con el Señor el 8 de junio de 2022. Nació en Jesús María Jalisco, México, hijo de Miguel Rizo Villapando y Ángela Lozano García. Juan deja atrás a su esposa, Margarita Ayala Guzman, dos hijos, José de Jesús Rizo Ayala (Lupita Rizo) y Juan Diego Rizo Ayala (Yvette Rodríguez), cuatro hijas, María San Juana Rizo Ayala (Michael Kabler), María de los Ángeles Rizo Ayala (Juan Duran), Maria del Carmen Rizo Ayala (Clay King) y Cecilia Rizo (Rene Ramirez), seis hermanos Jorge, Juan, Miguel, Javier, Nacho y Angel, seis hermanas, Chuya, Elvira, Ramona, Marta, Nena y Rosa. También deja una gran cantidad de nietos.

Juan era un hombre trabajador, cariñoso, que vivía para sus hijos y nietos. Siempre antepuso sus necesidades a las suyas. Juan pasó sus primeros años montando toros y trabajando como zapatero en México. Actualmente trabajaba como cocinero para el Restaurante El Patrón en Elizabethtown. Juan siempre fue un hombre tranquilo que era amable con todos. Tenía un corazón generoso y compasivo, y era fácil ver cuánto se preocupaba por ti en sus acciones. Fue honesto y fiel a su palabra. Juan será recordado eternamente por su integridad y su amor por los demás. 

La familia recibirá amigos de 6 a 8 p. m. el viernes 10 de junio de 2022 en Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home en Elizabethtown. Juan será sepultado en su ciudad natal de Jesús María Jalisco, México.
