Jennifer Nance

Jennifer Lynn Young Nance, 63, of Bladenboro passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Tart Young and one brother, Stewart Wade Young. She leaves behind her father, Oran Young of Abbottsburg; her husband Jimmy Nance of the home; one stepson James E. Nance Jr. (Patty) of Clarkton; one stepdaughter Becky Kelly of Bladenboro; two sisters Beth Young Long of Raleigh, Kay Young Hester (Steve) of Dublin; two sisters-in-law Sherry Young Barnes of Abbottsburg and Helen Nance of Bladenboro; four nephews: Ryan Young, Mason Young, Wyatt Long, Jared Hester, one niece Sara Dowd, two great nieces Addison Young and Emmeline Dowd and one great nephew Logan Hester.

Jennifer enjoyed family gatherings especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since her mother’s death, she became the matriarch of the family. She adored her family and especially looked forward to meeting the new addition, her great nephew. Jennifer also loved her church, Richardson Baptist where she served as the hostess of the church and piano player. Her fur baby, Petie was the apple of her eye. He brought her great joy.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Richardson Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Darin Andrews officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Singletary Cemetery in Bladenboro. All attendees are asked to practice social distancing and wear masks.
