Obituary

Dennis Hayes Pait, 65, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.B. Pait, Jr. and Myrtle Britt Pait and one sister, Roselind Pait Britt. He leaves behind his beloved, devoted wife, Sylvia Britt Pait of the home, their special fur baby, Teia, his son, Jason Hayes Pait (Kimmi) of Shallotte; four daughters, Carrie Pait Bron (Erick) of Wilmington, Tina Lane (Jim) of Mt. Gileod; Tanya Egelston (John) of Raeford and Melinda Taylor (Elliotte) of Fayetteville; two sisters, Gloria Dove Allen, Teresa Pait Hester, both of Bladenboro; eight grandchildren: Brooks Bron, Eva Pait, Braylen Bron, Jordan Swallick (Nicole), Brittany Turner (John), Katelynn Taylor, Ashley Smith (Matt), and Cameron Egelston (Sara); seven great grandchildren: Lana, Alaina, Zoe, Peyton, Nadya, Natalya, and Noella and several nieces and nephews.

 Dennis was a very talented person as evident with things he made and gifted to his family and friends. He never met a stranger and loved everyone. His love was fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife camping and of course his grandchildren. He was a hard worker having been a farmer for a few years and then worked with Daniels and other construction companies for many years as a certified journeyman, pipefitter and certified NCCER. Dennis will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

 Due to the coronavirus and safety of everyone, a wake will not be held at this time. A private family service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
