Bobby Carroll

September 5, 1940 — May 8, 2020

Bobby Stewart Carroll, 79 of Tar Heel passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his parents, N.B. and Eunice Pait Carroll; brother, Charles Carroll; son, Ricky Carroll; and daughter, Samantha Carroll-Beyer. Bobby was a loving and caring husband, daddy and Papa.  He was the owner and operator of B.S. Carroll Heating and Air for 53 years. A true friend to all who knew him. He never met a stranger. He was always willing to help others and loved to talk. He loved his horses and was a true Cowboy at heart. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 41 years, Daphne H. Carroll of the home; two sons, Stewart Carroll and wife Kim of Tar Heel; Lin Halliburton of Corona, Cal.; one daughter, Nancy Messer Smith and husband Jefferson of Roswell, Ga; daughter-in-law, Deanna Harris and husband Joe of Prospect, NC; brother, Steve Carroll and wife Gail of Tar Heel; sister, Ella Rae Roberts and husband Dr. Mack of Dublin; special sister-in-law, Deanie Barnhart; .; Son-in-law, Donnie Beyer of Elizabethtown;  10 grandchildren, Christan Carroll, Nathan Carroll, Trinity Carroll, Maggie Beyer, Noah Beyer, Tyler Smith, J. Hatcher Smith, Andrew Halliburton, Emily Halliburton, Shelby Halliburton; two great grandchildren, Jace Allen and Bently Carroll; and two special friends, Timmy Brisson and Dixon West.

Due to the Public Health Concern, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church PO Box 177 Dublin, NC 28332 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
