Wanda Wright

Wanda Richardson Wright, 68, of Elizabethtown passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Southeastern Hospice in Lumberton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wright; parents, Calvin and Hattie Richardson; brothers: Billy, Donald and Wendell Richardson and sister, Barbara Lowe.

Wanda leaves behind her son, Jonathan Wright of White Lake; brother, Elwood Richardson and wife Wanda of Evergreen; grandchild, Cassidy Wright and a number of nieces and nephews.

Wanda was a hardworking lady who wasn’t afraid of getting her hands dirty. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in blueberries. Just being outside getting in a tree stand or being by the water fishing were some of her most pleasurable moments. Wanda’s love for her family and her compassionate spirit will forever be remembered.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 15th in the Dyson Cemetery in Elizabethtown with Rev. Jim Woodruff officiating service.
