Vickie Simmons

Vickie Guyton Simmons, age 49, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was born in Robeson County on September 13, 1973 to the late Charles Guyton and Doris Britt Guyton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson Donald Nathan Simmons, and stepson Nicholas Simmons.

Vickie leaves behind her loving husband the Reverend Donald Simmons of the home, sons Aaron Simmons (Samantha) of Rose Hill, Sean Simmons of Warsaw, Brandon Simmons of Hope Mills, and Justin Simmons of the home, daughters Katelynn Locklear (Tracy) of Asheboro, and Alexis Simmons of the home, brothers Michael Guyton (Tasha) of Bladenboro, and Mark Williams of Lumberton, sister Regina Smith (Shannon) of Bladenboro, five grandchildren and her fur babies Luna and Paisley.

Vickie loved the Lord and her family a great deal. Her favorite times were spent around family. She loved trips to the beach catching crabs and watching sea turtles. She was a compassionate and giving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother that will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor Jennifer McLean officiating.
