Uldean Bowen

Uldean Faye Bowen, 93, of Bladenboro passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hovey and Ila Mae Shaw; husband, EC Bowen; son, Charlie Bowen and brother, Clyde Shaw. Uldean leaves behind her daughter, Becky Bowen Campbell and devoted partner, Ed of Bladenboro and grandchild, Heath Campbell of Raleigh.

Uldean was a woman who loved her God and family. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being around people. She enjoyed her job nursing and teaching CPR for the American Heart Association. Uldean’s heart was broken when she lost her husband, son-in-law and son, Charlie. Her words of encouragement will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

The family will receive friends at 1pm on Tuesday, December 20th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service at 2pm. Rev. Quentin Boyce will officiate service. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Bladenboro.
