Ronnie Allen Cox

Reverend Ronnie Allen Cox, 80, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Allen Cox and Elvira Dove Cox and one son, Ronnie Allen Cox Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Clara C. Cox of the home, daughters, Tammy Duncan of Rock Hill, SC, AuBree Barnes of Asheboro, NC, Bonus daughters Sarah Jane Benson of Bladenboro and Demetrise Williams (Terrence) of Rock Hill, SC, one brother Steve Cox and wife Mary Ruth of Bladenboro, one sister Brenda Dean and husband David of Bladenboro, four grandchildren Regan Elliott and husband Brian, BayLeigh Duncan and Zay Mills,  Madison Barnes-Wolcott and husband Austin, and Miller Allen Barnes, three great grandchildren Zoey Lynn Elliott, John Weston Elliott, and Ava Nalani Mills, and a number of extra Bonus children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Reverend Ronnie is remembered as having the kindest, honest, most loving heart. He was the best husband, father, grandparent, and brother. He was a true man of God and the fiercest prayer warrior you would ever hope to encounter. Reverend Ronnie loved big and would always be willing to pray for everyone. He always included the lost in his prayers as it was his desire that nobody would die lost. He was the type of person that could be stern with you but compassionate at the same time, make you laugh then he’d pray for you all in one conversation. He was a constant. A comfort. A companion. He would always be there to pick you up and bring you home. There will never be a better person than him. We were blessed to have known him and to be loved by him.
