Randall Lynn Hood

Randall Lynn Hood, 60, of Clarkton, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Garvis and Lucille Hood; maternal grandparents: Joe and Mary Starnes; father, George Hood.

Randall leaves behind his mother, Rosa Lee Atkins, stepfather, Jack Atkins; brother, Tony Hood and wife Melissa of Clarkton; sisters: Patricia Smith and husband Scott of Elizabethtown, Kristi Thorton and husband Ryan of Elizabethtown; six nephews, one niece, and one great nephew. 

Randall treasured the time spent with his family and loved them immensely. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed to hunt, fish, golf, watch westerns and follow the NC State team. Randall will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A graveside service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, July 16th in the Brown Marsh Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Clarkton with the Reverend Anthony Hardin officiating service.
