Patsy Pait Evers, 75, of Bladenboro went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 4, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father Woodie Pait, her mother Susie Britt and her husband David Earl Evers. Survivors include daughters, Tina Toler (Keith) of Fayetteville, Patty Evers of Elizabethtown, and Crystal Evers of Ocean Isle, four grandchildren, Trae, Hunter, Seth, and Hayley, and a special friend, Dorien Rivera.
Patsy Evers was a soul whose kind and loving nature go unparalleled. She was a friend, a mother and a grandmother devoted to assuring the joy of all she was around. Above all else, Patsy was a pure soul faithful to living a life dedicated to not only her friends and family, but ultimately to our Heavenly Father. Together we will grieve our loss and mourn the passing of someone so selfless and loving but will find solace in knowing that Heaven has called her home.
She loved the beach, Sunday movie night, and attending her children and grandchildren’s basketball games. Her favorite saying was “If you leave here hungry, it’s your own fault.”
We love you, granny and we know that if we can live a life following in your generous and loving nature, that we will ultimately see you again, greeting us all at the gates of Heaven, where you’ll be waiting with a loving smile, a gentle hug, and a warm plate of food.
The family will receive friends from 4-5 pm on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Center Road Baptist Church in Bladenboro. A funeral service will follow at 5 pm with Rev. Leon Warren and Rev. Adam Self. Services will conclude in the New Pait Cemetery, off Center Rd in Bladenboro. Social distancing and masks are recommended.
Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Center Road Baptist Church or East Bladen Girls Basketball Fund.
