Leslie Arnold Gerber, 90, of Bladenboro, formerly of Carrollton, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Alvin Gerber and Clara Edith Weisser Gerber, twin brother, Wesley Gerber and an infant sister. Leslie leaves behind his wife, Carol Gerber of Bladenboro (formerly of Carrollton, TX); two sons, David Gerber (Starla) of Wichita, KS; Douglas Gerber (Jody) of McKinney, TX; one daughter, Leslie Miller (Rev. Bruce) of Bladenboro; two brothers, Duane Gerber (Vi) of Alberta, Canada; Allan Gerber (Leona) of Valley City, North Dakota; one sister, Bernice Link (Allen) of Alberta, Canada and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Leslie grew up in Canada. On a visit to the states, he met his lovely wife of 65 ½ years, Carol Strege Gerber. He worked hard to become an American citizen and raised his family to be proud of their country. Leslie was a great husband, father and spiritual leader of his home. He spent his life teaching them Godly values and living by example in front of them. Leslie was a member of the Gideons for more than 40 years. He has left an eternal legacy of dedication, love and honor that his family will forever cherish.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Gideon International.
