Lacy Ray Britt

Lacy Ray Britt, 76, of Lumberton passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Christine Williams Britt. 

 He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Britt of the home, sons Tracy Britt (Tara) of Boardman and Jay Britt (Kristen) of Evergreen, one brother H.T. Britt (Vickie) of Lumberton, 13 grandchildren Staci Beth Britt, Dustin Britt, Noah Britt, Jason Britt, MaKayla Simmons, Hermione Greathouse, Jacob Greathouse, Kinley Nance, Andrew Nance, Robert Wright, Timothy Smith (Ariana), Jonathan Smith (Molly), and Hunter Smith and five great grandchildren Jaxon Johnson, Adalyn Britt, Kaylee Britt, Haisleigh Smith and Harper Smith. 

 Lacy was a kind, sweet loving person that always had a smile on his face. He loved his family, especially the love of his life for 40 years, his wife Susan. He enjoyed tending to his horses daily, attending horse sales and trips to the Uwharrie National Forest in North Carolina with his wife and many beloved friends. Lacy was a hard worker and was always busy doing something. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him. 

 A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11:00 am, in the Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with the Reverend Brett Young officiating.
