Joseph Norris

Joseph Lloyd Norris, 64, of Bladenboro passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Southeastern Hospice House. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maulty Norris Sr. and Pauline Snow Norris and one grandson, Timothy Carreras. Joseph leaves behind two sons, David Sykes (Lirreria) of Lumberton, Joseph Norris Jr. (Rachel) of Oklahoma, four daughters: Kristy Norris (Justin Cook) of Lumberton, Audrey Lewis (Thomas) of Lumberton, Vivian Oxendine (Gregory) of Lumberton, and Crystal Martin of Texas, one brother Sonny Norris Jr. (Sadie) of Bladenboro, two sisters: Paulette Franklin (Douglas) of Birmingham, AL and Cecil Booth of Alabama; 17 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two special friends: Gladys Thompson, Sarah Norris and one fur baby, his little "Precious".

Joseph was a good man who adored his family and his friends. He enjoyed watching wrestling and sports, especially his "Roll Tide" team. He leaves lasting memories of love and laughter in the hearts of all that knew and loved him. He will certainly be missed.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm on Tuesday, June 15th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. O'Neil Parker officiating. Services will conclude in the Memory Lane Cemetery in Bladenboro.
