Janice Faye Lewis, 75, of Bladenboro, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Hazel Long; husband, William J. Lewis; two brothers: Currie Long, Horace Long; sister, Rebecca Blackmon and infant brother, John Lee Long, Jr.
Janice leaves behind one son, Lee Lewis and wife, Donna of Bladenboro; two daughters: Stacie Bryan and husband Adam of Bladenboro, Angie Hardee and husband Terry of Lumberton; sister-in-law, Ann Long of Bladenboro; five brothers: Marshall Long and wife Sandra of Bladenboro, Jimmy Long and wife Delores of Elizabethtown, Ralph Long and wife Martha of Bladenboro, Donald Long and wife Sherry of Bladenboro, Stanley Long and wife Robin of Tobermore; brother-in-law, Grover Blackburn of Angier; five granddaughters: Madelyn Spivey (Clint), Krislyn Lewis, Scarlett Lewis, Makenna Bryan, Ashton Hardee; four grandsons: Richard Lewis, Brayden Bryan, Zander Bryan, Justin Hardee; two great-grandchildren: Titus and Moses Spivey; along with many nieces and nephews.
In 1965, Janice married the love of her life, William J. Lewis and he passed away in 2014. She loved her family with all her heart and spent most of her time making sure they were taken care of. She enjoyed going to the beach in her spare time. Janice was a Christian lady who loved the Lord immensely. She had a great sense of humor, always having fun with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all her knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th at 2pm in the Lewis Cemetery (Marsh Road) in Bladenboro with Rev. Jerry Wilkins Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the decedent’s home. Social distancing and masks are recommended at these services.
