Janet Singletary

Janet Rose Skipper Singletary, 76, of Bladenboro passed away at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Teed Skipper and Eunice Muse Skipper; husband, William Singletary; stepfather, Walter Grainger; four sisters: Patsy G. Thompson, Alma Ruth Hayes, Rita Hitch and Wanda Singletary.

Janet leaves behind her sister, Nanetta Soles of Whiteville; four nieces; eight nephews; several great nieces and nephews and a special great nephew, Cole Nance.

Janet treasured the time spent with her family. She loved to go shopping, working in the yard, cats and doing crafts. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 2-2:45pm on Sunday, February 26th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel in Bladenboro. A graveside service will be held at 3pm in the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Bladenboro.
