Hubert Benson

Hubert Donald Benson, 64, was born in Lumberton, N.C. on May 15, 1955. He passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Life Care of Wilmington. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Margie Bass Benson of Dublin, N.C. He leaves behind his daughters: Crystal Land and husband Allan of Whiteville; Amy Etheridge and husband Allan of Crusoe Island, Kathryn Benson of Whiteville; a son, Donald Benson and wife Rachel of Clarendon, N.C.; 11 grandchildren ( four of which he helped raise: Taylor Hinson, Hunter Benson, Cody and Cameron Etheridge), four great grandchildren and two sisters, Mitzi Lockamy and husband Gene, Glynda Muse and husband Steve.

Donald will be missed dearly by many.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
