Henry "Wayne" Parnell

Henry Wayne Parnell, 60, of Bladenboro, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ellen Parnell; brother, Terry Parnell. Wayne leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Emily Dove Parnell of the home; daughter, Virginia Grace Parnell of Grand Junction, Colorado; four sister-in-laws: Dru Dowell of Bladenboro, Marie Ammons (Eddie) of Bladenboro, Mary Smith (Kenneth) of Elizabethtown, Sara Dove of Elizabethtown; uncle, Frank Parnell (Inez) of Bladenboro; four brother-in-laws: David Ray Butler (Penny) of Spruce Pines, Clyde Dove (Glenda) of Bladenboro, James Dove of Bladenboro, Glenn Dove of Bladenboro; a granddog, Daisy and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a loving husband, father and friend. He was a servant of God who was always willing to do for others. If you were hungry, he made sure he had food. Wayne loved his Campbell soup family and enjoyed helping with United Way. He was a great provider for his family and for those in need.

A drive-in service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, December 16th at Butters Baptist Church with Rev. Charleston Guyton and Rev. Anthony Rich officiating service. Burial will follow service in the Butters Cemetery.
