Geraldine Olivia Regan Davis was born on July 26, 1938, daughter to the late Lillian Regan Stevens (Charlie Stevens) and Zeb S. Regan Sr. (Beulah M. Regan).

“A Time to Mourn”

Geraldine went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the age of 85 while at the Glenflora Nursing Center in Lumberton, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 59 years, Ephraim Davis Jr., and siblings, Charles Edward Stevens, Alonzo Stevens, Dorothy Stevens, Jo Ellen Stephens Singletary, and Alice Breeze.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories three children, Tony Stevens, Alicia Davis and  Rodney Davis, all of Bladenboro, NC, one stepson, Ricky McCoy (Rowena of Geneva, NY, two sisters Elizabeth Walker of Clinton, MD and Glenda Purdie of Newport News, VA, brothers, Billy Ray Stevens (Carrie), Carson Stevens (Bertha), both of Whiteville, NC, Hubert Stevens (Daisy) of Elizabethtown, NC, John Stevens (Charlene) of Bladenboro, NC, Zeb Regan Jr. (Mavis) of Goldsboro, NC, Stanley Regan (Ludetta) of Coraopolis, PA, one daughter-in-law DeVeau Troy of Bladenboro, NC, three grandchildren LaToya Davis, DezVeau Troy, and DayQuain Kirksey, two great grandchildren Raegan Troy and Alana Grace Kirksey, and two sisters-in-law Iris Stevens of Elizabethtown, NC, and Rachel Davis.

Geraldine loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them and cooking for them until her health declined. Her hobbies included fishing, crocheting, watching Soap Operas, and game shows. Some of her favorites were the Price Is Right and Lets Make A Deal. She loved the Lord and spent time reading her bible and her Daily Bread devotional. Geraldine was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who leaves a legacy of faith, perseverance, and love to all she leaves behind.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 15, 2024, from 12-1:00 pm at the Bladenboro Chapel of Bladen Gaskins at 800 N. Main Street in Bladenboro. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm in the Davis Cemetery in Bladenboro.
