Emma Jeanne Beavers

Emma Jeanne Beavers, 87, residing at Sienna Nursing Home in Wintersville, Ohio, formerly of Council, North Carolina, passed away on July 9, 2023.

 Born February 7, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James Grady and Irene Collum. She was a retired nurse’s aide and homemaker, who loved gardening and her dachshunds.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Beavers, her brother James Collum, and sisters, Edna McLamb and Edith Collum. Surviving are two sons Kenneth Beavers of Council, North Carolina, and James (Cheryl) Beavers of Richmond, Ohio,  daughter Susie (Bill) Larkins of Richmond Ohio, grandchildren Benjamin, Mike, and Ryan Larkins, Wendy Hughes, Kim and Jeremy Beavers, and James Beavers., several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Also missing her is her dachshund, Buffy.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 17th, 6 to 8 PM at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 18^th at 10 AM at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel.
