Curtis Hester

Curtis Hester, 90, of Bladenboro, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents: Blaine and Georgia Hester; wife, Vera Hester; sisters: Kathleen Peterson, Pauline McLemore and brother, Eugene Hester. Curtis leaves behind his son, Randy Hester (Sue) of Whiteville; daughter, Ava Brisson (Glenn) of Bladenboro; three grandchildren: Kevin Brisson, Burt Brisson, Jonathan Hester; five great-grandchildren: MacKenzie, Nolan, Hayden, Thad and Ava Marie Brisson.

Curtis treasured his time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed baseball and fishing for catfish. He loved to eat Krispy Kreme doughnuts and Reese cups. Curtis installed old TV antenna for people, would help people out and never told what he done for them.

The family would like to thank Rosie Smith for her dedication and care that was given to their daddy.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th at 11am in the PineCrest Cemetery in Bladenboro with Rev. Bobby Smith officiating service. All attendees are asked to practice social distancing.
