Curtiss Lee Davis

Curtiss Lee Davis, 83, of Bladenboro, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 20, 2024. He was born on May 8, 1940 to the late Milton Isaac Davis and Pauline Davis in Bladen County. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Houston and Bobby Davis and sister, Willa Jean Davis Spencer.

Curtiss leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Joyce Bridgeman Davis; sons: Brian Davis of Bladenboro, Myron Davis and wife Shannon of Bladenboro; brother, Hubert Milton Davis and wife Pauline of Bladenboro; sister, Annie Pearl Davis Guy of Raeford; grandchildren: Cooper Davis, Sam Davis, John Davis (Adrianna), Mary Davis, Derrick Owens and Dusty Owens;  great-grandchildren: Lexie, CJ, Kylie and Ashton.

Curtiss cherished the time spent with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Curtiss was a Godly man who knew the Bible inside and out. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed, and intelligent enough to fix anything put in front of him. He was even still working full time at Goodyear Tire Company until his time of death. Curtiss’ compassionate personality will never be forgotten.

The family will receive friends from 2-2:45pm on Tuesday, January 23rd at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel in Bladenboro with a funeral service at 3pm. The Reverend Brett Young will officiate service. Burial will follow in the Galeed Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro.
