Christopher Wayne Bryant, 48, of Hamlet, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Wayne Bryant. Christopher leaves behind his wife, Vickie West Bryant of the home; parents: Larry and Melba Bryant of Bladenboro; son, Zachary Munson and wife Alisha of Cabarrus County; daughter, Taylor Munson of Cabarrus County; sister, Sandy Connor of Hope Mills and a special nephew, Colby Connor of Hope Mills.
Christopher married the love of his life Vickie on March 21, 2008. He treasured the time spent with his family and loved them with all his heart. He enjoyed watching football, listening to old country music, wheelchair basketball and race cars. He worked for the Carolina Panthers and previously owned and operated Bryant’s Racing Engines where he assembled many race cars. Christopher lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, December 10th in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. O’Neil Parker officiating service. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. All attendees are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing. At other times, the family will greet friends at the home of Larry and Melba Bryant at 347 Singletary Mill Pond Road Bladenboro, NC 28320.
