Christine Carroll

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Christine “Doris” Pait Carroll of Bladenboro went to her eternal home with the Lord at the age of 92. She was born to the late Raymond Seldon Pait Sr. and Mary Alice Glover in Augusta, Georgia on November 1, 1929.

Doris was preceded by her parents, her husband Wilbur Mack Carroll Sr., son Wilbur Mack Carroll Jr., three brothers George Richard Pait, Benny Ray Pait, and Raymond Seldon Pait Jr., and two sisters Mary Joyce Pait and Joan Glover Pait Hester Franklin. She is survived by two sons, Barry Mitchell Carroll (Kay), Roger Anthony Carroll (Jennifer), both of Bladenboro, one daughter, Angela Denise Howard (Ron) of Charlotte, daughter-in-law Phyllis F. Carroll of Hudson, Fla., three sisters Shirley Rose Pait, Alice Pait Brumbles Hinson, and Dixie Pait Holcomb, eight grandchildren Stephanie C. Howard (Patrick), Mary Kristalin C. Soto (Sandy),Marianna C. Chambers (Matt), Elizabeth Megan Carroll, Anthony Cley Carroll (Alison), and Jared Blaine Carroll (Taylor), Lisa H. Lunsford (Dave), Ronnie Howard (Andrea) and 12 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Center Road Baptist Church 2484 Center Road, Bladenboro. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29th at  3:00 pm at Center Road Baptist Church 2484 Center Road, Bladenboro with Reverend Adam Self officiating. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.
