Carrie Mae Kinlaw, 54, died Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Carrie was born May 22, 1966 in Whiteville, NC to Cecil and Barbara Eason. She worked for USDA Rural Development for over 30 years. She was a member of Mount Olive Original Freewill Baptist Church in Hallsboro. She is survived by, along with her parents, husband, Dale Kinlaw; one son, Mason Kinlaw and wife, Sydney of Clarendon; one daughter, Hollie Bush and husband Josh of Hallsboro; two sisters: Tammie Parker and husband Jimmy, Daphne Burris and husband Mike, both of Whiteville; five grandchildren: Zoë, Emma, Declan, Rowan and Sophie.
Carrie treasured her family, husband, and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, the mountains and while her husband, Dale fished she slept on the boat. She loved watching HGTV, working in her yard and spending time with her family. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and every Friday night was date night with her husband. This holiday season, her cheerful spirit will live on in the memories she has left behind with her loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Saturday, October 31st at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service at 3pm with Rev. Timmy Locklear officiating. Burial will follow services in the New Pait Cemetery in Bladenboro. Social distancing and masks are recommended at these services.
