Carolyn Davis

Carolyn Sue Davis Davis, age 74, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1949, in Bladen County, the daughter of the late Lonnie Davis and Ruth Perry Davis.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Angela Davis and fiancé Greg of Elizabethtown and Tammy Sue Davis of Elizabethtown, three grandchildren, Trey Kinlaw, Kayla B. Hall (Justin), Karla B. Chavis (Jacob), and four great grandchildren, Gavin, Blaine, Khloe, and Lil Justin. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene Davis, great granddaughter Jayzlee Sue Hall, brothers James Davis, Alex Harris and sisters, Barbara Cain, and Virginia McKeithan.

Carolyn was an adoring Christian lady that loved her family, church, and her friends. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, trips to the mountains, playing bingo or cards, and shopping. Her home was her oasis, she enjoyed tending it and decorating it. The loving care she gave to her family as well as others will live on in the hearts of those who had the sincere pleasure of knowing her.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 4:00 pm in the Bladen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
