Ann Guyton

Ann Shaw Guyton, 67, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilton Shaw and Evelyn Cook Shaw and one brother, Jimmy Taylor. Ann leaves behind her loving husband, Charles Guyton of the home; one son, Aaron Guyton (Jessica) of Belville, NC; five brothers: Tommy Taylor, Mitchell Callihan, Charles Callihan, Mike Soles and Jerry Soles, one sister, Janet Davis (Shannon) of Wilmington; two grandchildren, Layla and Seth Guyton and a special niece and nephew, Austin and Ashley Davis.

Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family. She loved going to church, making jewelry, reading, and coloring with her grandchildren. She leaves memories of love, laughter and faith in the hearts of all that knew her and will be cherished forever.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A 3 pm funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Good News Baptist Church in Bladenboro with Rev. Larry Hayes officiating. Burial will follow the services in Oak Grove Church Cemetery in Bladenboro. All attendees are asked to practice social distancing.
