Anarah Norris

Anarah Elaine (Hildreth) Norris passed away Thursday April 21, 2022, in Hendersonville NC. Anarah touched the lives of everyone she met. Her smile and kind disposition made family and friends feel better and happier, whether it was from a hug or from eating her amazing cooking. Anarah loved to feed everyone who walked through her door.

Anarah's life was filled with joy from her 50+ years of marriage to Bobby Norris (deceased). Her children Angela, Bobby Jr, and Darren (deceased), enjoyed a small-town life in Elizabethtown, NC, with Anarah at the center of all the good times.

Anarah and Bobby loved spending time with their daughter Angela (Angie) and her family; husband Pete and their children Kaitlyn, Peter Jr, Christopher and Lily. Anarah always smiled when talking about her son Bobby Jr and his family; wife Sarah, and their children Drew, Matt and Jessica. In the last few years, Anarah's smile only grew larger with grandson Drew marrying Katie and the births of their children, Hallie Kate, Corbett, Rylan Grace and Wells.

Anarah's life was made more full with her extended family. A yearly family reunion brought her family and Bobby's family together, along with other close friends. Many wonderful memories were made with Anarah and Bobby's brothers and sisters and their families.

All who knew Anarah are sad at her passing, but happy to have the memories of how she lived and loved her family. She will be missed by all she touched.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown.
