Wendy was a true prayer warrior who loved the Lord first and foremost. She would witness every chance she got and would say all the time that God was going to heal her. She trusted in the Lord and in his healing power. Wendy loved her family and treasured the time spent with all of them. She was a daddy’s girl who would always make sure he had flowers on his grave. She enjoyed her trips to the mountains with Jimmy after her second battle with cancer. Her smile was infectious and would light up the room. Her kind and gentle spirit will forever be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The family will receive friends at 1pm at New Light Church in Bladenboro with a memorial service at 2pm on Friday, December 3, 2021. Rev. Dale Hester and Rev. Jim Woodruff will officiate service.
