Houston lived a full life. He treasured his children and family above all. Houston spent two years in the Air Force. He traveled the United States with his brothers, Tony and Ray, welding and building huge complexes. Houston loved to fish and was a cowboy at heart. He left some beautiful leatherwork for his family to treasure. Later in life, he was the “taxi driver” of McLeod Village. He was the first to arrive at the family reunion but most of all he wanted to go to church.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 29th at 2pm at White Oak Baptist Church in White Oak with a funeral service at 3pm. The Rev. Danny Lewis and James Stewart Pait, Jr. will officiate service. Burial will follow service in the church cemetery.
